- Are you involved in any activities or programs that help build community resilience, self-reliance, renewable energy or other ideas of Transition?
- I've been an administrator on this site for the past 2/12 to 3 years. I took responsibility of this site about 1 1/2 to 2 years ago, meaning I pay the bills now ;-)
My goal is to connect people with others who feel the same way about the need for resilient communities along with connecting those who want to learn with those who want to teach.
- What are your areas of interest?
- Local food security, Renewable energy, Housing, Education (Raising Awareness), Health (Medicine), Transportation, Local economy/Currency, Local food securtiy
- How did you hear about us?
- Les Squires, the original creator of this site
- Where do you see yourself participating in the growth of the Transition Movement?
- By helping to raise awareness and helping people to network with others.
- In what areas do you have skills that you would like to share with others?
- I'm a little low in the skills department....but learning more everyday ") My interests are Permaculture, herbal medicine and housing. I hope that someday soon I can share what I have learned in these areas by opening a sustainability school on my property.
